  1. I attended a meeting put on by Malibu H.S. and the Santa Monica-Malibu School District where a discussion of the proposed Measure BB plan that includes permanent athletic field lighting, which would lead to a possibility of 204 nights of usage, synthetic turf, a concession stand and bleacher seating for 1300 people. I am concerned that without improvement of the current septic system the effect on Zuma Beach, which is two blocks away will be effected by sewage and water run-off. Can Heal the Bay have some influence on this disasterous plan to the environment?

  2. Yesterday at 2:30PM the scheduled 1 and 3 mile swim around Naples Island in Alamitos Bay, Scheduled for this morning, was canceled due to a sewage spill.
We the People have had the clean water laws now for decades. How much longet until we rise up and take back the country from the crooked leaders and lazy govt workers who break the very laws they make.
The rivers, bays and ocean are not septic tanks. All of the sewer and water runoff can be cleaned up using settlement basins and at the same time refiling the ground water. This can be done in a way that will not break the bank. This problem has gone on far to long and with all the enviromental groups it is still going on. I Say we march on City hall, Sacramento and Wash DC. Take back the Country.
